For passengers
Search planned trips or post your own route request. Contacting a driver becomes available after registration and payment details for the platform fee.
European non-commercial carpooling
RouteShare helps passengers and drivers find a route match based on planned trips, route requests and real overlap — not on-demand transport.
Drivers share existing planned trips and split real costs. No taxi, no ride-hailing, no commercial transport.
Search planned trips or post your own route request. Contacting a driver becomes available after registration and payment details for the platform fee.
Browse passenger requests near your start point. Respond only after creating your own planned trip and confirming it is non-commercial.
RouteShare shows route overlap. It does not sell transport, set taxi fares or let drivers accept requests without their own planned trip.
The product logic
Both sides can search. The rules for contacting are different to keep the service focused on shared planned routes.
A passenger can search existing planned trips, or post a request with start, destination, date and flexibility.
A driver can browse requests near a selected start point, for example Munich plus a chosen radius up to 50 km.
Passengers register and add payment details. Drivers must first publish their own planned trip and confirm it would happen anyway.
Anti-taxi positioning
Our goal is simple: help people find overlapping routes and share real travel costs. A driver should not create a trip as an on-demand job for a passenger.
